Three carpenters, two of them brothers, died apparently of asphyxiation in a shed at an under construction house near Srinagar Airport today, police said.
Fayaz Ahmad Najar, his brother Nisaar, and Jamsheed Ahmad Dar, all residents of Chadoora, were found dead in a shed of an under construction house at Friends Enclave, Humhama, a police spokesman said.
The carpenters were working on the construction of the house, the spokesman said, adding they apparently died of suffocation caused by emission of gases from a fire wood 'bukhari' during the night.
