3 children charred to death in Bihar

Three children were charred to death when a fire broke out in a hut at a village under the Kanti Police Station area in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district today, police said.
The incident took place in Pusi village as the fire broke out in a hut when the stove on which a woman was cooking food exploded, police said.
The three children got trapped in the blaze and died due to burn injuries, they said, adding, the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
Senior district officials reached the village and provided Rs 5,000 assistance to the aggrieved family, police added.
