3 college-going girls killed in road accident in Hisar

Three girls, including two sisters, were killed when a scooter on which they were travelling collided with an oil tanker in Hansi town, about 26 km from here, on Hansi-Jind road this afternoon, police said here.
The victims were in the age-group of 18-20 and were students of S D College in Hansi, police said.
The accident took place when the girls were retuning to their homes on their scooter and an oil tanker, which was on its way from Jind to Hansi, collided with the vehicle, killing them on the spot.
A case has been registered against the driver of the tanker who fled from the scene after the incident, they said.

The victims were identified as Sakshi (B Com first year), Tanu (B Com third year), and Gauri Saini (B Com first year). Tanu and Sakshi were the sisters, police added.
