A three-day festival, celebrating the birth centenary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, will witness a number of events such as folk dance, craft show and a special photo exhibition here.
Titled 'India Remembers Indira', the event organised by Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust (IGMT), is part of the year-long campaign- 'I Am Courage' which celebrates the leader's life and values.
In it's special edition, the trust will also launch a website which will chronicle the life and times of Indira Gandhi along with inspirational quotes, images, video content as well as significant milestones in her life.
Indira Gandhi, who was chosen to lead the Congress Party in 1966 ruled the country for 17 years.
IGMT will display a special collection of around 200 photographs of the charismatic leader in a photo exhibition many of which are being made public for the first time.

Between February and November next year the exhibition will go on a 5-city tour across the country, including the National Centre for Performing Arts in Mumbai, the Harrington Street Art Centre in Kolkata and the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru.
It will return to Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum (IGMM) here for the conclusion of the centenary year in November 2017.
"Through this exhibition we want to bring the great leader to life, as it were, to the young people of this country who may read about her as a figure from recent history but should know much more about her as a person who contributed so much to making India what it is today." Suman Dubey, Secretary of IGMT said.
The cultural festival will be open to public from November 19-22 at IGMM here.
