Around 1,400 elected representatives and heads of state units of the RSS would attend its three-day meet commencing here tomorrow, where the activities of the various Sangh wings would be reviewed.
The meeting will be attended by the representatives from 11 zones of 42 provinces and heads of all the states, RSS media relations in-charge Manmohan Vaidya told reporters today at Amrita University, the venue of the meet on the outskirts of Coimbatore.
RSS general secretary Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi would preside over the meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the highest decision-making body of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, in the presence of Sarsanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat, he said.
Each province would present its report on different fields of the Sangh's work and the swayamsevaks would share their experience, he said.
A resolution on national issues will be discussed, debated and passed on the second day of the meet, Vaidya said.
The meet is being held in the backdrop of the BJP's impressive showing in the recent Assembly elections in five states, including Uttar Pradesh.
It is being organised for the first time in Tamil Nadu, where the BJP is seeking a foothold.
