Representatives of tourism industry from 10 countries have been invited to 'Himachal Travel Mart', while officials from eight states, including Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Bihar, are also taking part in the event, Vice Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Vijai Singh Mankotia said.
The state is looking for private investment for tapping the potential of adventure tourism like mountaineering, para-gliding, rock climbing and mountain biking, he said.
Besides, we need investments for starting cruise services, including 'shikaras' and water sports in Bilaspur and Chamba lakes, he added.
