"We have so far recovered three bodies and have rushed some 12 injured people, including women, to hospital," Nagauri Gate SHO Nitin Dave said.
The rampart wall, 25 to 30-ft long, caved in at around 3 pm yesterday in Udaimandir Asan locality, the SHO said.
The debris fell on two mud houses burying all their occupants, Dave said.
"An eight-year-old girl was among those killed," he said.
Army personnel assisted in rescue operations which continued late into the night amid rains.
