Three persons have been apprehended for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in Rajasthan's Churu district, police said Monday.
An FIR was lodged by family members of the minor, following which a case was registered under sections 376(D) (gangrape) and 365 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code and the three were detained, said Station House Officer, Taranagar, Radheshyam.
The suspects allegedly took the girl to a secluded placed late night on Sunday and gang-raped her, he said.
Medical examination of the girl has been done by a medical board and an investigation is underway, the SHO added.
