Three persons, accused in the brutal murder of a woman in Neb Sarai area in south Delhi last week, have been arrested, police said today.
While accused Monty was arrested from BRT corridor on July 13, Athar was caught from Tigri area on the same night. The third accused, Ravi, was arrested the next day and the knife allegedly used in the murder was recovered from him, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ishwar Singh said.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that Monty was in a one-sided love with the woman. On the intervening night of July 8 and 9, the trio had reached Arti's residence to talk to her over a monetary matter. While Monty and Ravi went inside her residence, Athar waited outside in a car, the DCP said.
A heated exchange ensued between Arti and Monty. In a fit of rage Ravi grabbed the woman while Monty allegedly stabbed her on the neck even as another girl, who was present in the room, managed to escape from the spot, said the officer.
Police tracked down the witness of the incident who helped them in solving the murder case.
During interrogation, it was also revealed that Athar was previously involved in six criminal cases, including attempt to murder, firing, and Arms Act, registered at Ambedkar Nagar and Neb Sarai police stations, he added.
