3 held, heroin seized in Jammu

Three persons were arrested and heroin-like substance was seized from their possession in the Shastri Nagar area of the city today, a police officer said.
During a surprise checking, police intercepted a car and during the search seized 300 grams of heroin-like substance, he said.
The driver of the car and his two associates were arrested and booked under various sections of the NDPS Act, he said, adding investigations have been initiated.
