All the three persons, including two women, who had received serious injuries in a road accident in this district of Uttar Pradesh on October 12, died Monday while undergoing treatment, police said.
The accident had occurred on the Musafirkhana-Gauriganj road, near Pindara village under the Musafirkhana police station, when the bike driven by Babulal Yadav was hit by a truck.
The two pillion riders -- Yadav's wife Kamlesh and sister-in-law Kesh Kumari -- were also injured in the accident and admitted to a private hospital at Jagdishpur, but succumbed to their injuries Monday.
The Station House Officer (SHO), Musafirkhana had taken the truck into police custody, but the driver had fled, the police said.
Musafirkhana police has lodged an FIR against the driver.
