Former Commonwealth Games bronze-medallist Amandeep Singh will be among the three Indian pugilists who will compete in a professional boxing event to be held in Beijing tomorrow.
All the three boxers are affiliated to the Professional Boxing Organisation of India (PBOI).
It will be the second professional contest for Amandeep (56kg), who made a winning debut in the circuit in October last year by beating fellow Indian Sunil Sharma.
Amandeep was also a former national champion and an Asian medallist during his amateur career.
He will be up against Pakpoom Hammarach, a Thai who has an experience of 27 fights. Hammarach has accumulated 14 wins, including 8 Knockouts, and 13 losses.
The other Indian boxers in fray are Sandeep (66kg) and debutant Balkar Singh (69kg).
