Three persons were injured, with two of them suffering gunshot wounds, in a clash between two groups in southeast Delhi's Govindpuri area today, police said.
The injured were identified as Dheeraj, Narender and Neeraj, all residents of Govindpuri. They were admitted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, they said.
They are out of danger, but not yet fit to give statements, they said.
Police were informed about the incident at 6 am.
During investigation, it was learnt that a quarrel broke out between two men over a criminal case involving their friends. Both the men called their associates after a scuffle, Deputy Commissioner of Police (southeast) Chinmoy Biswal said.
Police said Kadir and one of his friends had allegedly fired at the victims.
The matter is being investigated.
