This is the second incident in two months. Last month, an NRI had crashed his vehicle into the security gates at Attari Joint Check Post (JCP).
A Border Security Force (BSF) official said three Kashmiri youths were apprehended "well in time and well before the international gate" due to barricade erected by the border protection force.
BSF DIG Sumer Singh said during preliminary investigation, three youths claimed that they had begun their journey by road from Srinagar yesterday for New Delhi.
The official claimed that because of alertness of BSF troops and adequate security arrangements much before the international gate, BSF succeeded to prevent youths to reach near the international Indo-Pak border.
