3-kg of gold biscuits seized from passenger at airport

Three-kg of gold biscuits were today seized from a passenger who arrived here from Sharjah by an Air Arabia flight, police said.
Immigration officials grew suspicious about the movement of the man, hailing from Kuthuparamba in Kerala and searched him. The gold biscuits were found concealed on the inner side of his suitcase, they said.
The value of the seized gold is being assessed, they said.
