3 kids injured in two incidents of Leopard attack
Press Trust of India Balrampur Three children were injured today in two separate incidents of leopard attack in Sohelwa forest range, forest officials said. The first incident took place early this morning at Sahijana village, when a leopard injured Tahira (13) and Satyaprakash (5), they said. Both were seriously injured. The leopard fled from the spot after the attack. The second incident took place in the nighbouring Sikandarbojhi village where eight-year-old Rahul was injured. Divisional Forest Officer Rustam Pervez said the injured was hospitalised, and a forest department team was searching for the leopard. The DFO urged the villagers not to let their children move out of the house during the night.
