3 killed, 12 injured as tractor falls into pond

Three persons were killed and 12 others were severely injured when the tractor trolley on which they were travelling overturned and fell into a pond here, police said today.
The vehicle on-board 15 passengers was returning from a nearby temple when the the driver lost control due to a faulty steering wheel.
The deceased have been identified as Geeta Devi (50), Punam (25) and Kiran (13) and their bodies have been sent for post mortem.
The injured were rushed to Bisvan community health centre. Among them, four are said to be critical and are shifted to District Hospital, police said.
