3 killed as vehicle falls into gorge

Three persons were killed when the vehicle in which they were travelling fell into a deep gorge near Kaintha village in Sirmaur district, about 100 km from here, this evening.
The occupants of the car were on their way to Kaintha (Bogdhar) from Nohra Dhar when the tragedy struck, police said.
Eyewitnesses said the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve.
The car was completely damaged and three persons travelling in the car died on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies with the help of locals.
The deceased have been identified as Jagmohan (41), resident of village Kuffar, Hitender (62), resident of village Balanadhar, and Hari Chand (61]) of village Chokkar, said Neelkanth, incharge of Nohradhar police post.
Chief Parliamentary secretary and local MLA Vinay Kumar expressed grief over the tragedy and conveyed his condolences to bereaved families.
