3 killed in blast at quarry

Three women were today killed when explosives went off in a quarry at Arjundah village in Pakur district, the police said here.
The explosives are used for stone mining and the police suspect that an explosive device planted for mining purpose earlier went off when the women went to the spot in early morning hours.
The three, having died on the spot after the blast, were believed to be labourers of the quarry.
Police was ascertaining the circumstances behind the incident.
