3 killed in clash over land in Aligarh

Three persons, including a woman, were killed today when two rival groups clashed over a land dispute in Aligarh district, police said.
The incident took place in Virampur village in Lodha area of Aligarh this afternoon when two groups clashed and attacked each other with sticks killing Kailash, Babu and Bhagwati Devi, IG, Law and order, Amrendra Sengar told reporters here.
He said that the incident was fallout of a land dispute.
Two persons Ghanshyam and Purshottam were arrested by the police in this connection.
Heavy police force was deployed in the area to maintain vigil.
