3 killed in thundershower in UP, Agra hottest at 42 degrees C

Three persons were killed in rain-related incidents in Bhadohi district as parts of Uttar Pradesh witnessed light to moderate rain and thundershower in the last 24 hours.
According to the Met office, Lalganj received 2 cm of rainfall followed by Kerakat, Mohammadabad, Rasra and Varanasi which received 1 cm of rainfall each.
Jhansi and Agra registered the maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius.
There is a Met forecast of likely rain and thundershowers at a few places.
The temperature was well below normal in Kanpur, Agra and Meerut divisions, appreciably below normal in Faizabad, Lucknow and Moradabad divisions, below normal in Varanasi and Allahabad and normal in the remaining divisions.
