3 members of robbers' gang arrested

Three members of a gang of robbers, who waylaid and looted late night commuters in Delhi- NCR, have been arrested, police said today.
With their arrest, the police claimed to have solved six cases of such crimes registered at several police stations in past three months.
Last month, Sachin Rastogi, a resident of Shahdara, lodged a complaint that he was robbed of money and other belongings and also forced to reveal his ATM pin by the robbers, who offered him a lift and then forcibly pushed him in their car when he declined to go with them at a bus stop near Chilla Sports Complex, said DCP (East) Ajay Kumar.

The robbers withdrew Rs 20,300 using the ATM card the same day.
After examining the CCTV footage of the ATM where the money was withdrawn, the accused were identifed as Pradeep and his associates Ajay Mishra and Ankit, the officer said.
Through technical surveillance, they were found to be located in Agra and arrested by a police team there, he said.
Pradeep has four cases registered against him at different police stations.
The cops are on the lookout for the absconding gang member Sunny, Kumar added.
