At an event held here on the theme of 'Diversity and Inclusion', the High Commissioner to India said they would arrive in over a week's time.
Patel, in his opening address at the media workshop, attended by over 50 participants from India, Nepal and Afghanistan and Canada, emphasised that ties between India and Canada were "vibrant, long-standing, and deep-rooted".
"Diversity and inclusiveness is among Canada's priorities. And, also it is an important time around the world to showcase the Canadian experience and this event is part of that," he said.
On the ministerial visit for the Canada-India Tech Summit, he said, "One of them is a Francophone, the other an Anglophone and one of Indian-origin."

"This is reflective of the culture that Canada is," he added.
The event was held under the umbrella of 'Canada150' that marks the sesquicentennial anniversary of Canadian Confederation, a senior official of the Embassy said.
"Embracing the reality of diversity, choosing to celebrate the differences and not exploiting them...and looking at them as assets, is what practising inclusiveness from Canadian perspective," the high commissioner said.
