Vikas Kumar, Vishal Sharma and Ramesh Kumar were arrested on a complaint registered by an e-rickshaw driver, Ram Sajeevan, whose vehicle was looted by the accused on December 17 night near the Ganga Barrage here, SP (West) Sachindra Patel said.
"The accused, posing as passengers, used to hire e-rickshaws and then looted it from its driver," he said, adding the complainant's vehicle has been recovered.
Tracing e-rickshaws is a challenge as they have no number plate. The accused have accepted to looting e-rickshaws in the past, the SP said.
