3 of family killed as car collides with truck

Three members of a family, including two women, were killed and three others seriously injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a truck on the Unnao-Hardoi road here, police said today.
The incident occurred late last night near Chauhan dhaba in Makhi police station area when the family was on its way to Kanpur in the car, they said.
While Kiran (40), Rekha (42) and Sanjay Shukla (45) died on the spot, the three injured were referred to a hospital in Kanpur in serious condition, police added.
