3 Pak nationals held for illegal stay; Cite love angle

Three Pakistani nationals, including two women, have been arrested here on charges of entering and staying in the country under false identities since last year, police said today.
MohammedShihaba, hailing from Kerala and stated to be in love with one of the women, was arrested along with them last night forallegedly helping them, they said.
The three Pakistani nationals identified as KirhonGhulam Ali, Khasif Shamshuddin and Sameera Abdul Rehman -- natives of Karachi -- had been living in the city's KumarswamyLayout under false names for last nine months and had even got documents like the Aadhaar card, police said.
"We have arrested these four persons under various sections of passport (act), foreigners act, conspiracy and creation of false document and misrepresentation," city PoliceCommissioner Praveen Sood told reporters.
"Interrogation is going on not only by the statepolice but also by central agencies to verify all theinformation given by them," he said.
Police said the four had come into contact whileworking in Qatar. They first went to Muscat and then viaKathmandu entered Patna before reaching Bengaluru.
During the investigation, they toldpolice that Shihaba and Sameera fell in love and wanted to getmarried, but her family was opposed to it, so theyplanned to move to India.
Similarly, Sameera's cousin Kirhon was also facing opposition from family for her relationship with Khasif, and hence they also chose to come here, police said, quoting the statement given by the arrested.
