The ministers sacked by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak are Yousuf Ayub Khan of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf and Malik Ibrar Hussain Khan and Bakht Bedar of the Quami Watan Party.
Khattak belongs to the Tehrik-e-Insaf, which is led by cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan.
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court upheld an Election Tribunal's decision to disqualify Yousuf Ayub Khan for possessing a fake educational degree.
He was Communications Minister while Bedar was Minister for Industries, Commerce and Technical Education and Ibrar Hussain Khan was the Environment Minister.
On November 8, Tehrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan had urged the Chief Minister to investigate corruption in the province. He had reiterated his party's electoral promises of bringing peace to the province and stamping out corruption.
