The mishap took place when a driver lost control of a bus that fell into a ditch, the police said.
The dead were identified as bus driver Pappu Yadav (38), Pramod Sada (30) and Sitaram Yadav (48).
The injured were admitted to a hospital where the condition of two of them was stated to be critical, the police said.
