belonging to Tiwa Liberation Army (TLA) were arrested today from Nagaon district.
The three militants were apprehended from Amsoi area, bordering Morigaon district, a senior police officer said.
The extremists, belonging to the newly formed outfit, have been identified as Sachin Pator, Ranjit Pator and Jyoti Basumatari.
Police said they were in the area with plans to extort money from local businessmen.
Several documents were recovered from their possession.
