"About 370 girl students in the school started suffering from health problems like vomiting, probably after they consumed food prepared at the school as part of some religious festivity," East Godavari District Medical and Health Officer Pavan Kumar said in a statement here.
Out of these, around 30 girls, who were most affected, were admitted to Jaggampeta Government General Hospital for treatment.
Around 20 girls were discharged from the hospital after the treatment this evening, Pavan Kumar said.
Further investigation into the case is on, Kumar added.
