30-yr-old married woman found strangled to death

The body of a 30-year-old married woman was found at her residence in southeast Delhi's Govindpuri area today with police suspecting she was strangled to death by her husband.
The deceased has been identified as Renu Devi, police said, adding that preliminary investigation suggests that she was killed at least three days back.
The needle of suspicion points towards her husband who, along with their two-year-old daughter, is untraceable at the moment, they said.
The murder came to light this morning when Renu's father came to visit her for holi. It turned out that Renu had not been taking his calls for the last two days.

The stench emanating from the single-room apartment made her father break the lock on the door, following which he found Renu's decomposed body.
Neighbours called police and a case of murder was registered. The body was sent for a post-mortem, police said.
Police said this was Renu's second marriage. Her first husband had left her over a dispute a few years ago. Renu's family had moved to the rented house around two months back, they added.
