33 Deputy Superintendents of Police transferred in Punjab

In a major shake-up at middle level in police, the Punjab government today transferred 33 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) with immediate effect.
Those shifted included Mohinder Singh, Ajay Raj Singh, Parveen Kumar, Ravinderpal Singh, Jasvir Singh Rai and Balwinder Iqbal Singh, an official spokesman said.
The transferred officers are of Punjab Police Service (PPS) cadre, he said.
