35 sovereigns stolen from Siddha doctor's house

: About 35 sovereigns of gold jewellery and some cash were stolen from the house of a siddha doctor at suburban Sulur, police said.
They said the doctor had left for a nearby village last evening after locking his house. He returned this morning to find the back door of the house broken open and the gold and cash missing.
A hunt is on to nab the culprits, police said.
