35 students taken ill after eating school meal

As many as 35 students of a government secondary school were taken ill after eating mid-day meal (MDM) at Gopipatti in this district today.
Four students fainted soon after consuming the food at the school and 31 others reported illness, Block Development Officer (BDO) Ahilya Kunwar said.
The sick students were taken to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Benipatti where all of them were released after treatment. Four students, who fell unconscisous, were put on observation, she said.
A probe has been ordered into the matter, she said.
