37,477 students to appear for HSSLC, HSLC Exams this year

A total of 37,477 students are preparing to appear the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) and High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examinations, 2016 under Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) scheduled from February 9 to 27.
Out of the total, 14,508 students would be sitting for HSSLC (Class XII) Arts, Commerce and Science stream exams, which would be held from February 9 and 27 in 50 centres spread over 11 districts.
In HSSLC, the total students are divided into 10,486 for Arts stream with 4,894 male and 5,492 female, Commerce has 1,397 students with 892 males and 505 females, while 2,725 students are for Science comprising 1,510 males and 1,215 females.

Another 22,969 students would be sitting for the HSLC (Class X) examination from February 10 to 23 in 72 centres throughout the state.
It comprises of 11,071 male and 11,898 female candidates.
