"37 militants have been killed while 50 including important commanders surrendered to the security forces," reported Radio Pakistan .
The security forces had launched a search operation named Zarb-e-Azb Khyber-1 in the Bara district of Khyber region on Friday.
According to security forces, search operation against the miscreants in Akakhel of Tirah valley in Bara is underway.
They have asked the militants, who have tarnished the image of tribal people and their culture, to lay down arms, report said.
The operation was launched to free the tribal people from the clutches of the militants who had already multiplied into the miseries of tribal people.

People are migrating to safer places after the operation began and the security forces have set up a registration point at Orakzai near Tirah.
Already over 365 families have migrated through Ali Masjid route. The forces are fighting rebels in North Waziristan where an operation was launched in mid-June.
About 1,100 militants have been killed in the Zarb-e-Azb operation, according to the military.
