A case has been registered in Muzaffarnagar after a man allegedly sheltered three persons who came from outside Uttar Pradesh during the lockdown, police said.
Acting on a complaint by an RSS activist, Shamim, Salman and Waseem were held at the Gandhi Nagar locality on Saturday for staying at the house without informing the police, an officer said.
During interrogation, the three accepted that they have come on foot from Jalandhar in Punjab, the officer said.
The three men have been quarantined in a hospital, while another was put under self isolation in his house.
