4 fake school teachers disengaged from job

A special cell of schools and mass education department today disengaged four teachers of government-run schools on charges of furnishing fake certificates to earn eligibility for the posts.
The accused teachers who were engaged as Sikshya Sahayaks have been disengaged after doubts were raised on the authenticity of educational qualification certificates submitted by them.
The drive to detect fake teachers has been undertaken following allegations from specific quarters, District Education Officer, Sangram Sahoo said adding, a special cell has been constituted to cross-check the certificates of contractual teachers appointed since the past 4-5 years.
