4 held for duping two job aspirants

Four persons, including a CEO of a local news channel, were today arrested for allegedly cheating two unemployed youths of Rs five lakh on the false promises of providing jobs, police said.
Komi Reddy, CEO of T9 news channel, T Ramesh, a lab assistant at a college, B Naresh Babu, an unemployed person and D Venkateswar Rao, a government employee working in the Secretariat, were arrested for cheating two job aspirants, they said.
"Ramesh came in contact with the two victims, who had applied for a government job, and assured them that he would help them secure the job if they pay Rs 10 lakh," a release from Hyderabad police said.
"The accused assured to the job aspirants that they would arrange exam papers one day prior to the written test and collected Rs 2.5 lakh each as advance from the victims," it added.
The four accused cheated them by luring them with false promises of providing government jobs, police added.
