The TET was held today across the state and around 23 lakh people took part in it.
"We came to know that school teacher Swarup Biswas has a plan to supply TET answers via SMS in lieu of money and he collected huge money from the TET examinees across the district. We arrested him and recovered some money last night," Additional Superintendent of Police Ajay Prasad said.
Three others -- Sulabh Biswas, Kartik Sarder and Sanat Mondal -- were also arrested in this connection, Prasad said adding Swarup is the mastermind.
Meanwhile, a report from Bankura said a TET examinee died during the examination at Patrasayer.
