4 kg opium seized, 1 held

Four kg of opium was seized from a bus and one person arrested during raids at Phesama checkgate at Kohima yesterday.
Police said the contraband, found wrapped in four packets, was seized during routine check of the passenger bus.
One Mohendro (44 years) of Sogobar village under Imphal (West) was taken into custody for investigation under NDPS Act.
