Four people were killed and eight others injured on Monday in two separate road accidents in Uttarakhand.
Two persons were killed and seven injured when a jeep carrying members of a marriage party fell into a gorge near Gopeshwar in Chamoli district, Disaster Management Officer NK Joshi said.
The injured, which include a three-year-old girl, were admitted to the Chamoli district hospital, he said.
In another incident which occurred in Pauri district, two persons were killed on the spot and one was injured when the car in which they were travelling fell into a gorge near Bairgaon between Gumkhal and Satpuli, Lansdowne SHO Jitendra Chauhan said.
The injured has been admitted to a hospital in Kotdwar, he said.
