4 killed as bus falls into canal

At least four persons including a woman were killed and six others injured when a private bus fell into a road side canal in Howrah district tonight, the police said.
The accident occurred at Pero locality under Amta police station area when the driver of the speeding bus apparently lost control of the vehicle.
Four bodies including that of a woman were found in the bus, the police said.
The six injured were taken to hospital.
The bus, which was playing on Howrah-Pancharul route, was being lifted from the water, police said.
