The incident took place yesterday night when the speeding truck hit the tempo, killing Sandeep (17), Advani (30), Pappu (22) and Sanoj (22), Jawaharlal Gutpa, PRO, Superintendent of Police, said today.
The truck was seized by the police, but the driver managed to flee, Gupta said.
The body of the victims have been sent for postmortem and investigation is on in the matter, he added.
