4 killed as two trucks collide in Maharashtra

Four persons were today killed and two others sustained injuries when a truck collided head on with another truck near Ajantha village in the district.
The mishap occurred when the cement-laden truck collided with another truck carrying wood. Following the collision, the trucks caught fire. Three persons were killed on the spot, API Shankarrao Shinde of Ajantha police station said.
Another person succumbed to injuries while he was being rushed to the hospital. Two persons who sustained injuries have been admitted to a local hospital, he said.
Police said the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained.
