4 labourers found unconscious in train

Four migrant labourers on board the Jannayak Express were today found in an unconscious state after they allegedly consumed sedative laden biscuits offered by a fellow passenger, police said.
The labourers were admitted to the Fatehgarh Sahib Civil Hospital here where their condition was said to be out of danger, Sirhind Government Railway Police SHO Vinod Kumar said.
One of the victims, Ulas Pandit, said a stranger in the train offered them biscuit laced with drugs when they boarded the Jalandhar-Darbhanga (Bihar) train and fell unconscious.
He claimed that the miscreant took away some of their cash among other goods.
Sirhind GRP police has registered a case against unidentified person under section 328, 379 of the IPC, police said.
