4 members of contract killers' gang nabbed by UP STF

Special Task Force of UP police arrested four members of a gang of contract killers following an encounter in Azamgarh district.
On a tip off, an STF team reached Surahi Khurd village under Saraimeer police station area last night and after an encounter arrested the gang members who had gone there for carrying out a criminal act, an STF release here said today.
Two other criminals, however managed to escape, it said.
A revolver, pistols, country-made weapons and cartridges were recovered from them.
