The clinics, that are likely to be inaugurated in the first week of December, will be located in Yamuna Pushta, Jama Masjid, Sarai Kale Khan and Shakur Basti, areas where night shelters are usually crowded.
"The clinic in Shakur Basti will be inside the night shelter itself while the rest would be housed in the premises of the shelter homes. The government is mulling to open few other such facilities," a senior official said.
After the meeting, Sisodia told reporters that Jung has "almost agreed" to the proposal, about which he had certain reservations in the past.
Around 107 mohalla clinics are operating in the city presently. These are part of the city's government's "three-tier public health roadmap" with the other two being polyclinics and hospitals.
Free medicines are provided and around 200 tests are done for free in these clinics.
