4 more swine flu deaths, toll touches 419 in Rajasthan

With swine flu claiming four more lives in Rajasthan, the toll in the last three months in the state has touched 419, an official said today.
One person each succumbed to H1N1 virus in Ajmer, Tonk, Nagaur, and Jhunjhunu yesterday, the official said.
Of the 6,585 people found positive for the virus in the state, 419 have succumbed to the dreaded virus since January this year, official of the State Medical Health Directorate said here.
Except Dholpur and Sirohi, swine flu deaths occurred in all of the remaining 31 districts, the official said. Though positive swine flu cases were reported from Dholpur and Sirohi districts there was no death, he added.
Jaipur recorded the maximum deaths of 84 followed by Ajmer 44, Jodhpur 33, Nagaur 31, Barmer 23, Kota 20, Udaipur 15, Chittorgarh 14, Bhilwara and Tonk 13 each, Sikar and Pali 12 each, Jhunjhunu 10, Churu 9, Bikaner 8, Bharatpur, Dausa, Rajsamand and Banswara 6 each, and Alwar 5.
