outfit People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested with arms and ammunition from a jungle near Lohajimi village under Torpa police station of extremist-affected Khunti district, police today said.
Acting on an information that an armed squad of the outfit have assembled in the jungle last evening, security forces rushed to the spot and arrested Prasan Gudia, Ruben Gudia, Manoj Gudia and Susrijit Bodra, Superintendent of Police, Anish Gupta said.
A country-made sten gun, 10 cartridges and five mobile phones were seized from their possession, he said.
A hunt was on to apprehend one ultra identified as Sanjeevan Topna alias Disco, who managed to escape, Gupta added.
